Historical Catalogue

The Department of Historical Catalogue is the department in charge of keeping records on everything. Every event, every incident, every accident, invention, individual and their actions — they keep everything on the record as best they can, and as accurate as possible. Most of those hired are historians and writers with a passion for keeping things written down and recorded.

When you die, they keep the details of your life and who you were forever on record — as far as they are concerned, you will never be forgotten. History is littered with the nameless, and the faceless. Most who've given their lives, or had them taken away have also been stripped of their identity. The D.H.C. aims to keep these to a minimum.

The department ensures that any mistake and error made by other departments including it are never forgotten, or rewritten — this also extends to any battle, or war. They keep the truth, and the document as unbiased as possible. If something has transpired, good or bad — they will make sure no one forgets that it happened.

Nothing shall be forsaken.

The D.H.C. also is useful for study on specific organisms, planets and geography, the history of the entire VRDF, and its subsequent discoveries. If you needed to learn anything from a book, or a map — they have it. The knowledge they store is invaluable, and is as protected from outsiders as much as the D.R.D.'s facilities; in fact, the D.R.D. lends its troops to protect the sacred libraries and their dimensions as tightly as possible.

These libraries are vast buildings with larger than possible interiors, spanning entire worlds inside of them. Guarding them are often very high level VRDF ethereal personnel, in order to ensure they have the lowest chance of casualty in the event of an intrusion.
