> Armed Guard

The Department of Armed Guard is where all of the general logistics and grunt work take place. Nearly all front to backline units of any VRDF conflict contains them, whether that be infantry, general armored vehicles, or large fleet ships for head on galactic combat.

> Clandestine Intervention

The notorious black sheep of the VRDF, the Department of Clandestine Intervention is in charge of 'nudging' planets, worlds, universes, and dimensions in the right direction by any means necessary. This means assassinations, covert infiltration, replacement of certain governmental figures, and utilizing the 'butterfly effect' to an almost nauseating degree. They are entirely devoted to obtaining the goal of a better tomorrow, and are known to engage in not just dishonorable, but absolutely detestable acts.

> Research & Development

The Department of Research & Development involves exactly what you think it does. They provide and manufacture nearly all of the VRDF's supply and equipment, as well as constantly push the envelope of technological and magical advances. They even make their own fake manufacturing companies to fit in with specific universes — complete with fake names, logos, and histories; the most infamous of which is 'Vyronn Technological Industries', or VyroTech in short. It consists of scientists, tailors, mechanics and engineers — generally anyone who is conventionally crafty.

> Cultivation & Rationing

The Department of Cultivation & Rationing is on an equal level of important as the D.R.D., initially being a subsect of R&D before skyrocketing in the number of projects, before being given its own department in due time. Whenever a planet is considered uninhabitable for a species, the D.C.R. makes it so.

> Ethical Regulation

The Department of Ethical Regulation (colloquially known as the 'Ethics Committee') is one many overlook, but there is a lot more to the department than meets the eye. It is where most galactic scale objectives and orders are created and sent out, and where requests for mission goals are approved or denied. The D.E.R.'s duty is to ensure that everyone under the VRDF stays true to the original ideals of a peace keeping, humanitarian force.

> Wellness & Safety

The Department of Wellness & Safety is responsible for maintaining the well being of VRDF and civilian personnel through the standardization of safe equipment, work sites, general base construction, health inspections, and medical practices.

> Historical Catalogue

The Department of Historical Catalogue is the department in charge of keeping records on everything. Every event, every incident, every accident, invention, individual and their actions — they keep everything on the record as best they can, and as accurate as possible. Most of those hired are historians and writers with a passion for keeping things written down and recorded.
